KJ2005X1-MQ1 MQ Controller Overview

The KJ2005X1-MQ1 MQ Controller is a DeltaV scalable process system controller designed and certified for use in hazardous areas. It holds a Zone 2 rating, suitable for areas where flammable gases or vapors may occasionally occur during regular operations.

Instructions for Use in Hazardous Areas:

The KJ2005X1-MQ1 MQ Controller must be installed and used following the DeltaV ™ Scalable Process System Zone 2 Installation Instructions (document 12P2046). Additional installation guidelines are available in the “Installing Your DeltaV Automation System” manual.

Important Note on Communication Networks:

The communications network connected to the DeltaV Controller should not be linked to a source that generates or contains, under normal conditions, a potential exceeding 60 VAC or 75 VDC.

Maintenance and Adjustment:

The KJ2005X1-MQ1 MQ Controller does not contain user-serviceable parts and should not be disassembled. Calibration is unnecessary. If maintenance or adjustment is required, the controller must be returned to an authorized Emerson service center.
